WHO/UNFPA guidance suggests personal lubricants stay at or below 380 mOsm/kg, and ideally never exceed 1,200 mOsm/kg, because high-osmolality formulas pull water out of the thin cell layer lining the vagina and rectum. Ingredient lists do not print osmolality, so the practical move is to look for the number on the product page or ask the manufacturer.
The catch is that an ingredient list never prints a concentration, so no tool can read osmolality off a label — including this one. What a list can do is tell you whether the usual drivers are present, which turns a vague worry into a specific question you can put to the brand.
